  Last time was at Applebees was a couple years ago in Paducah. It was horrible. The service was absolutely embarrassing. They were rude and I never even got a drink refill. The food was deplorable. My steak wasn not cooked correctly and was actually cold. I was quite disappointed. Today I  visited the Mayfield Applebees by request of my wife. It was like a Ray of sunshine. The staff was more courteous than I've seen anywhere here. They never let the bottom of my glass start showing, the food was exquisite. So hot and fresh and perfectly cooked. I was well impressed and hope they do not tire of seeing my face there. I plan on going as often as possible. These folks are truly what customer service and professionalism is about. Thank you Mayfield Applebees for making me love this chain again

  Usually it's fine..... however quality control is lacking. Sometimes, the meal is fine but tonight they completely ruined the dine out experience. The people in the kitchen sounded like they were screwing around after I sent my mashed potatoes back that were cold. Then they took 10-15 just to heat of the potatoes. While everyone else eat and finished their meals. That was after my Caesar salad came out with so much dressing the lettuce was swimming! Absolutely horrible!!!

  My wife and I use to go all the time. All there good staff either got fired for what ever reason. Or many went to the wing zone. After a while we decided to give them another try which was today. Server was horrible food was mediocre at best. The other thing Applebee's as a whole tends too. Remove things from the menu that are actually good. 40 mins is to long to wait for entrees. Not to mention being ignored by the server no drink refills or reorders. I don't see how this place stays in business. An I don't think it's the local management that is the issue. I think it's regional. Anyway not again not unless this place changes. Rather see something else a chili's or old Chicago in its place. Use to be really good now just a crap show. You want to try it be my guest. Two stars is generous on my part enough said.

  Normally I'm not a big fan of national chain restaurants but I've eaten here a bout 6 times and to be fair the food here has been really good, the service was good and the wait staff was friendly and pleasant. Granted we've never gone at peak hours, but there was always people there and the food was served in a timely manner and tasted great. I really can't think of anything to complain about .. oh yes I can 15 TV's and not one of them playing Formula 1 racing, that's it that's all I've got for a gripe. Other than that the food was really good, the service was great, the restaurant was clean what more do you want? Pricing was fair, it's Applebee's you probably know what it cost not cheap and not over the top.
